Summary :
Phantom limb pain is a regular issue among amputee people, having an impact on participation or involvement in occupations and on quality of life, which are important notions in occupational therapy. To provide an understanding of phantom limb pain, this article will present implicit neurological mechanisms. Then, this article will present methodology, results and limits of a systematic review about virtual reality therapy effects in the treatment of phantom limb pain among amputee people.
