Summary :
Required part of the reengineering of the Occupational Therapy curriculum, the integration of teaching patient therapeutic education within the initial training of Occupational Therapists contributes to the implementation of national policies concerning all health professionals. The appropriation of the collaborative aspects set within the patient / health professional relationship, enabled by the therapeutic education, demands that the students question their own representation of care and care delivery. From a survey carried out amongst students of the Institut de formation Lorraine-Champagne-Ardenne, this article aims to shed light on the personal, pedagogic and institutional factors influencing the practice of patient-centered collaborative care at the end of initial OT training.
