Summary :
Occupation-based practice is widely accepted throughout the world for its value, enabling occupational therapists to develop their specificity. The TaPasS health prevention programme for ageing people is based entirely on the knowledge that has emerged in recent years concerning the links between occupation and health. This article discusses the development of this programme and its implementation, illustrated by the example of one of its modules. It aims to shed some light on how we can intervene in the field of prevention with occupation-centred practice.
