Summary :
Occupational therapists’ professional identity has been the subject of much research, particularly in mental health settings, as this appears to favor generic work. To understand the situation in France, this article follows on from the exploratory descriptive study carried out in 2018 on 135 French occupational therapists practicing in psychiatry. A statistical analysis made it possible to update the factors that are associated with participants’ satisfaction with their professional identity. Future research will be needed to investigate what hinders and promotes occupational therapists’ professional development.
