Summary :
One of the first multiple sclerosis’s symptoms (MS) is fatigue. The Haute Autorité de Santé (National Autority for health) recom-mends a continuum of care when disabilities appear because of the fatigue or other symptoms. However, fatigue impacts the activities of daily living (ADL) and the quality of life. Occupational therapy’s goal is to increase the social, familial and professional parti-cipation. The purpose of this study is to understand the experience of the impact of fatigue by people with MS and the considera-tion of this symptom in the OT’s practice. Questionnaires were sent to patients with MS and OTs experienced in MS. The study results show that compliance to recommendations depend on several points: clearness, fitting to lifestyles and efficiency to improve patient’s participation in ADL.
